Christy Thompson

Christy joins the ECWA Board with expertise in Fundraising and Development, Program Management, Strategic Planning, Marketing, and Communications. While she started her career in mental health, Christy has since transitioned to working in higher education, as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Fund at the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment. In her free time, she enjoys coaching cheerleading, hiking local trails, and exploring the restaurant and music scenes in the Triangle area. She is a devoted member of the Durham community and cares deeply about environmental justice and conservation efforts.
