Brenna Johnson

Brenna Johnson earned her B.S. in Environmental Management and Policy and B.A. in Economics at the University of North Carolina Asheville. She grew up near Fort Liberty, NC.

As the Land and Water Projects Coordinator, Brenna will work with the Water Management program to support the Creek Smart program. She will coordinate with contractors, technicians, and property owners to install green stormwater infrastructure, which includes rain gardens and cisterns, in Durham with the goal of reducing runoff pollution in the Ellerbe Creek Watershed. Brenna will also plan workdays for the Preserve Stewardship program, which performs maintenance on our five preserves.
