Dexter Blackwell

Dexter has spent the majority of his life as a North Carolinian, growing up in the glorious mountains of NC and then attending undergraduate and graduate school at UNC-Chapel Hill. After moving to the Triangle, he fell in love with the area and has been here ever since. He works as a wealth manager at a multi-family office in Chapel Hill. Dexter, his husband, and their dog live in downtown Durham.

Dexter joined ECWA's volunteer base searching for environmentally-focused organization opportunities through HandsOn Triangle and currently serves as the Board Treasurer, Chair of the Nominating Committee, and a member of the Finance Committee. He enjoys walking with his family through 17-Acre Wood Nature Preserve.
