Chelsea Sloggy
Chelsea is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment and is working with ECWA as a 2020 Sussman Fellow in Community-Based Environmental Management. Chelsea developed a passion for helping others become connected with the natural world and its protection during her undergraduate studies, which led her to pursue a career in environmental education and community engagement. Her drive is to empower communities to become more sustainable, resilient, and equitable while protecting ecosystems for recreation, education, wildlife, and environmental quality. When she isn’t chatting with people in the watershed, you can find Chelsea gardening, hiking, climbing, and cooking with her husband, or laying in the sun with her dog and reading.
