Dedicated to protecting and restoring Ellerbe Creek

We will send out this newsletter bi-monthly to keep you up-to-date with ECWA news and upcoming activities. The E-zine with watershed flora & fauna information will come out in alternate months.

Program Spotlights

Come check out the newly built trails at the Beaver Marsh! ECWA was fortunate to sponsor a North Carolina Youth Conservation Corps crew at the Beaver Marsh Nature Preserve in August. In partnership with the Conservation Trust for North Carolina, the crew constructed new trails making the Preserve more accessible. Corps members consisted of eight young people living in the Triangle area and two leaders who commuted to different projects over seven summer weeks. Their final week was spent at Beaver Marsh and many commented that it was their favorite project. See articles about the project in the Durham News and the News and Observer

Your support is vital for our ability to improve water quality, restore habitat, and connect people with nature - we thank you in advance!
