What: The Beaver Queen Pageant “Tails & Tiaras” Kickoff Party! Be the first to meet this year’s contestants and judges and come shake your tails with the Beauty Operators! This year’s pageant will be on Saturday, June 3rd at Duke Park. The theme is “The Wizard of Gnawz!”. Tails & Tiaras will be emceed by Ellen Ciompi and hosted by Parker and Otis. This is a fundraiser for The Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association – The event is free, but voting often for your favorite contestant and frequent bribing of judges are encouraged. Feel free to wear your tails and tiaras!

Who: You, the 2017 Beaver Queen Pageant contestants and judges, and the Beauty Operators

Why: The “Tails & Tiaras” Kickoff Party and the Beaver Queen Pageant are fundraisers for the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association (ECWA), dedicated to preserving land, restoring habitat, and connecting people to nature in downtown Durham.
